Moto X Second Generation Go On Sale Tonight on FlipKart Priced at ₹31999

Motorola India reveals the price of its most-awaited smartphone Moto X 2nd gen today,the 24th september 2014. It will be available on ecommerce Flipkart from midnight 24th Sept. 2014. In India, Moto X 2nd Gen(16GB) base variant priced at ₹31999, while Moto X 2nd gen with the wood finish and leather back panel are priced at ₹33999. The phone is available at $499 (nearly Rs 30,000) in the US. The previous version of this smartphone Moto X was launched at the starting price of ₹23999.

Moto X 2nd Generation features 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and the screen is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.The phone has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED ring flash which can record a Ultra HD 4K video and a 2MP front-facing camera. It has a faster 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM from its predecessor. Moto X Gen 2 is coming in two variants 16GB and 32GB. The phone is 9.9mm thick and weighs 144gram. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Motorola's own suits of apps.

In the Context of connectivity, The Moto X 2nd generation comes up with GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN(Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot), Bluetooth v4.0(with A2DP, EDR, LE), NFC, USB(microUSB v2.0, USB Host). It has a upgraded battery of 2300mAh which can last for an entire day use. It has all required sensors like as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, temperature etc.

Camera of the Moto X Gen 2 has Best Shot ability feature by which it can capture a series of pictures even before you click and then shows you the best shots taken to choose from based on smiles, motion blur, and so on. It has upgraded Moto Voice assists which can now allow users to share Facebook status, take a selfie by giving voice command. It also have Moto Migrate which allows user to import their contacts, videos and photos from other smartphones, Moto Assist which allow users to set actions on the smartphone such as a regular no-disturb hour and Moto Alert which lets the smartphone alert your friends or family during emergencies.
